- tion presents you with a series
- of questions that allows Ford to
- respond to your specific infor-
- mation requests as well as prov-
- ides Ford with the information
- to make better products for you.

- Customer Response section, follow
- the user instruction at the bot-
- tom of each screen.

- Use the <BACKSPACE> key to cor-
- rect any alphanumeric entries.

- Press <SPACEBAR> to continue.
- HELP: Ford Model List

- In this screen, you select the
- model you wish to learn more
- about. Use the up and down arrow
- keys to move the highlight bar
- to the model of your choice,
- then press <ENTER> to select. If
- you move up or down to the words
- "More Models", the list will
- scroll, showing you more of the
- 29 models.

- While in the Buyer's Guide, you
- may select a new model at any
- time by pressing <F2> which re-
- turns you to this screen.

- Press <SPACEBAR> to continue.
- HELP: Buyer's Guide Menu

- This menu allows you to select
- the part of the Buyer's Guide
- you wish to go to next. Press a
- number key from 1-5 to select.

- While in the Buyer's Guide, you
- may return to this menu at any
- time by pressing <Esc>.

- This screen shows you key
- information about the model of
- your choice. Press <SPACEBAR>
- to see the Major Standard

- specifications.

- HELP: Major Standard Features

- This screen presents the important
- features that come as standard
- equipment with the model you have
- selected. Press <SPACEBAR> to see
- option packages and individual
- additional options that you can
- add to your model.

- If you wish to change to another
- Ford model, press <F2>.

- If you want to return to the
- Buyer's Guide Menu, press <Esc>.

- Press <F7> to print the Major
- Standard Features.

- HELP: Option Packages

- This part of the Buyer's Guide
- shows you what Option Packages
- are available for your model. Note
- the savings you receive with many
- packages by purchasing a package
- rather than individual options.

- You can add an option package to
- the Ford model of your choice by
- pressing <ENTER> when the package
- is displayed. Pressing <ENTER>
- again will cancel the selection.
- Press <SPACEBAR> to see what
- other Options are available for
- your model.

- HELP: Additional Options

- This part of the Buyer's Guide
- lets you select from a list of
- individual options available for
- the model you have chosen.

- Use the up and down arrow keys to
- move the highlight bar to an op-
- tion. Select an option by pressing
- <ENTER>. Cancel a selected option
- by pressing <ENTER> once more. The
- total cost for your selected
- options is shown at the bottom of
- the spreadsheet. When you are
- finished, press <SPACEBAR> to con-
- tinue on to print a sample window
- sticker for your selected model.

- HELP: Window Sticker Printout

- This part of the Buyer's Guide
- will allow you to print out a
- sample window sticker for your
- selected model, which includes
- Specifications, Major Standard
- Features, selected Option Pack-
- ages, selected Additional
- Options and the total price.

- When you are finished printing,
- press <SPACEBAR> to go to the
- Financial Spreadsheet to calcu-
- late your total estimated finance
- charges and monthly payments.

- Press <SPACEBAR> to continue.
- HELP: Buyer's Plan

- The Financial Spreadsheet allows
- you to view your model's total
- vehicle price, including options'
- costs, and enter the information
- necessary to calculate your total
- estimated finance charges and month-
- ly payments. The highlight bar can
- be moved up and down with the arrow
- keys. Use the number keys to enter
- a value into the spreadsheet. Press
- <BACKSPACE> to erase an entry.
- Press "C" to cancel a change. Press
- <ENTER> to confirm a value, which
- automatically recalculates the
- spreadsheet and moves the highlight
- bar to the next input field.
